What’s a typical day as Data Specialist (Dental Provider Support)? You’ll be:
  • Acting as the main point of contact for dental providers regarding participation status, credentialing, and contract-related questions via email or phone.
  • Processing new provider applications, credentialing requests, and changes to provider records.
  • Responding to provider and member inquiries via phone, email, and voice mail with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Managing queue-based tasks including provider adds, terminations, fee schedule updates, and contract maintenance.
  • Reviewing and submitting audits to ensure documentation meets compliance and credentialing standards.
  • Supporting assigned groups by managing all communications and requests.
  • Collaborating with internal departments and network leasing partners to ensure data consistency and proper contract loading.
  • Investigating and helping resolve complaints from providers and members, coordinating with Compliance when necessary.
  • Attending team meetings and staying current on internal processes, policies, and industry regulations.

  • Possess strong communication skills with the ability to manage email, phone, and voicemail inquiries efficiently.
