Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts DESE Special Education Certification is required
- Previous experience in an elementary resource room or similar setting preferred
- Solid understanding of both pull-out and push-in support models
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Organizational skills to balance tasks and manage caseload efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for 3rd-grade students
- Deliver small-group and individual instruction in the resource room (pull-out)
- Provide support within the general education classroom (push-in)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, service providers, and families to promote student success
- Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment tailored to diverse learning needs
You will work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, ensuring consistency and a structured schedule for your students.
