Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a skilled pharmacist to support an outpatient hospital retail pharmacy, offering a contract role for 8 to 13 weeks. The position requires a commitment of 4 to 5 days per week, with shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The work environment includes collaboration with a pharmacy manager, one fellow pharmacist, and two pharmacy technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders and verify technician-prepared products prior to release.
• Ensure the security of the pharmacy and proper handling of controlled substances.
• Enter patient information and prescription orders with precision using Pioneer RX software (preferred).
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and licensing requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Indiana pharmacy license is required.
• Proven experience working as a pharmacist in an outpatient or retail pharmacy setting.
• Prior experience with Pioneer RX order entry system is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
