Job Description
Make a meaningful impact working as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the Burleson, TX area for the 2026-2027 academic year! Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to assigned students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and educational teams to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Organize and implement therapy materials, integrating evidence-based practices
- Adhere to school- and district-wide policies as well as ethical standards for SLPAs
- Engage in ongoing communication with students, staff, and families regarding therapy goals and progress
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active TX SLPA licensure is required
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children is preferred
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and prioritize student needs
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Completion of required background checks, including fingerprints and drug screening
