Class A CDL Driver

Mancan Staffing has teamed up with a busy Akron warehouse who is seeking an experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join their team!

Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience
Good driving record
Pass background check and company road test
Ability to meet DOT/FMCSA requirements

Job Duties:
Safely operate tractor-trailer and follow all DOT regulations
Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections
Pick up and deliver loads safely and on schedule
Load/unload trailers as needed, including hand-bombing up to 75 lbs.
Complete required logs, delivery paperwork and inspection reports
Communicate with dispatch regarding assignments, delays and issues
Report accidents, incidents, vehicle damage and other concerns promptly
Provide professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and participate in required training

Working Conditions:
Extended periods of sitting and driving
Highway traffic and varying weather conditions
Some multi-day runs may be required
