Production Operator – Cable & Wire
Location: Middletown, PA
Pay Rate: $21.25/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position focuses on the preparation and assembly of cables, wires, and electrical components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience and be comfortable working with hand tools, wire, cable, and electrical components.

Candidates with experience in wire cutting and stripping, crimping, molding, or electrical testing are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and strip wires and cables to specified lengths and requirements.
  • Crimp wires using hand tools and/or crimping equipment.
  • Prepare wires, cables, and components for assembly.
  • Perform molding operations involving cable and electrical components.
  • Conduct electrical testing to verify proper connections and product quality.
  • Assemble cable and wire components according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, proper connections, and quality standards.
  • Use hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment as required.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and quality procedures.
  • Identify and report quality issues or equipment problems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Meet established production and quality goals.

Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Experience cutting and stripping wire is highly preferred.
  • Experience crimping wires and electrical terminals is highly preferred.
  • Experience with electrical testing is a strong plus.
  • Experience with molding or cable molding is a plus.
  • Ability to work with small components and perform detailed, repetitive tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications.
  • Good hand dexterity and ability to use hand tools.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
