As a valued member of the Readiness Program, you’ll play a key role in preparing preschool-aged children for academic and social success. You’ll craft engaging lessons, adapt instruction based on individual needs, and collaborate with supportive colleagues to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of direct Special Education experience, preferably working with pre-kindergarten students
• Current New York State Certification in Special Education
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and families
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to unique student needs
• Passion for supporting and advocating for young children with special needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver age-appropriate, individualized instruction to preschoolers in the Readiness Program
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and growth
• Assess student progress and document outcomes in alignment with program standards
• Collaborate with related service providers, families, and team members to ensure well-rounded student support
