Position: School Social Worker
Assignment: ASAP – June 9, 2026 (NSY Extension Possible)
Schedule: Full-Time
Grade Level: Elementary (K–4)
Program Focus: Emotional Support

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to provide full-time support in an elementary school setting (grades K–4). This role focuses on working with students in an emotional support program, helping them develop social-emotional skills and succeed in the classroom. The position starts immediately and runs through the end of the school year, with a potential extension into the next school year (NSY).

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services
• Support students with social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
• Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
• Help create a positive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Active School Social Worker license/certification required
• Experience working with elementary students preferred
• Background in emotional support or behavioral programs highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
