Make a difference supporting students with communication needs in the vibrant Denver area! This contract opportunity spans from ASAP until late May 2027, offering a full-time role (35 hours per week) with assignment to a school or schools to be determined. You’ll have the chance to work closely with learners—primarily those with mild to moderate needs—helping them thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) Certification
  • Valid Colorado SLP license, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist credentials (birth through age 21)
  • Experience supporting school-aged children and adolescents preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities
  • Must be able to complete time-sensitive district background check requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
  • Maintain clear and timely progress documentation for caseload students
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional recommendations
  • Promote inclusion and help students access the general curriculum
