Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist at an elementary school in the Lillington, NC area. This full-time, contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through May 2027, offering you the chance to develop valuable experience in a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current and active North Carolina SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) also considered
  • Previous school-based experience strongly recommended
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process, assessment, and interventions with school-aged children
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech/language therapy services to elementary-aged students in individual and small-group settings
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and school administration
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and data tracking
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary team conferences
  • Consult with staff and parents regarding strategies for communication success
  • Remain onsite throughout contract (no virtual assignments)
