Job Description

We are seeking a Test Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronics troubleshooting, test systems, and production line support and a proven ability to diagnose root causes, maintain lab equipment, and support test engineering activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor functioning lab tests, perform simple corrective actions, and escalate to appropriate personnel when required.
  • Provide intermediate line support to the production floor and troubleshoot issues using technical knowledge and interdepartmental contacts.
  • Work with test engineers to build, modify, and debug test systems and related equipment.
  • Maintain lab equipment, perform basic mechanical work, and uphold a clean work area as time allows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with electronics fundamentals, multimeters, oscilloscopes, electrical schematics, and circuit boards.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Competence with computers, basic software/program usage, and effective communication.
  • Experience level: Minimum 1 year in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering. 3+ years preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in electronics maintenance rather than machinery or motors.
  • Ability to flex hours for cross-training as needed.

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • Second shift. Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Majority of duties performed standing and moving throughout the facility.
  • ASTM-approved safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection required.
