Robert Half is seeking an experienced Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal to join its growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional looking to contribute to a fast-paced plaintiff-side practice while working alongside experienced attorneys and legal staff.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in personal injury litigation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients.

Location: Downtown Manhattan, New York, NY

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (100% On-Site)

Pay Rate: $30-$35 per hour

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery materials.
  • Conduct legal research and provide summaries to attorneys regarding relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Maintain and organize case files, medical records, discovery documents, and client records.
  • Coordinate court filings and ensure compliance with New York court procedures, deadlines, and docket requirements.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit compilation, witness coordination, and trial binders.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, medical providers, and court personnel.
  • Track litigation deadlines and support attorneys throughout all phases of personal injury cases.
  • Assist with case management and ensure timely handling of all legal documentation.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of paralegal experience within a New York law firm
  • Plaintiff personal injury experience is required
  • Bilingual in Spanish (spoken and written) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of New York State court procedures, filing systems, and litigation deadlines
  • Experience using legal research tools such as Westlaw and/or LexisNexis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
