Job Description
Make a direct impact supporting students by providing your expertise as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Gresham, OR. This in-person, contract position offers the chance to foster student growth and collaborate closely with fellow educators and families.
We are seeking a dedicated professional with an Oregon TSPC license for an immediate start. The role is structured as a .5 position, with a unique alternating schedule: work two days one week and three days the next, always within the hours of 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Your specialized skills can play a vital role in student success and development.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Oregon School Psychologist license (TSPC)
- Demonstrated experience working within K-12 school settings
- Strong ability to conduct psychological evaluations and interpret results
- Confidence in leading or participating in IEP meetings
- Skillful in consultative practices with educators, administrators, and families
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Dedication to working on-site and participating in required meetings
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student needs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating on educational plans
- Meet with students individually or in groups to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district policies
- Participate in required meetings as needed to ensure cohesive support for all students
