School Speech Language Pathologist - Albany, NY

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in New York
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though strong clinical skills from other environments will be considered
• Ability to develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students
• Develop IEP goals and deliver evidence-based speech therapy services to individuals and small groups
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Monitor, document, and report student performance and adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear input and recommendations for student care
• Stay current on best practices and compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
