Step into a highly impactful role supporting students, staff, and administrators near Philadelphia, PA, as a full-time, onsite ABA Therapist/Behavior Specialist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers the unique opportunity to make lasting contributions throughout a vibrant K-12 community, focusing on students with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the training of new staff in effective instructional strategies for students with Autism.
  • Provide comprehensive training for all team members on individualized behavior plans and updated best practices.
  • Offer refresher sessions to returning educators, ensuring continued compliance with current procedures and evidence-based approaches.
  • Support development of Verbal Repertoires for students, modeling strategies within classroom environments.
  • Deliver direct in-class coaching and reinforce best practices, collaborating closely with school staff and PaTTAN consultants.
  • Facilitate the transfer of established skills from anchor classrooms to other autism support settings across the district.
  • Guide teams through critical scheduling, assessment, and logistical topics, ensuring smooth program implementation.
  • Be present, visible, and accessible during the vital back-to-school period for support and guidance.
  • Monitor fidelity of behavior intervention strategies and provide targeted feedback as needed.
  • Participate in all onsite consultations with the flexibility to designate a qualified representative during absences.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania educator certification in Special Education or related field.
  • Proven experience in autism support or special education settings, ideally within urban schools.
  • Deep understanding of evidence-based instructional methods for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Reliable transportation and schedule flexibility between 7:15AM-4PM (schedule cannot be altered).
  • Successful completion of all required Pennsylvania clearances.
  • Comfortable and adaptable within district and urban settings.

This contract role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, at 35 hours per week.
