Job Description

Assignments are expected to be determined prior to the start date, ensuring a seamless transition for your school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license (please provide a screenshot with your application)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience providing speech-language services in school settings, particularly with early childhood populations, is highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to onsite service—fully remote work is not available for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student communication development
- Maintain accurate records and deliver progress reports according to school and district guidelines
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
This position offers the flexibility of up to 40 hours per week, with both full-time and part-time considered. While there is a possibility for hybrid scheduling, more days onsite than at home are required to best meet student and school needs.
