Step into a fulfilling contract position working as an onsite School Psychologist across four school sites in the southern area of a vibrant county. This opportunity involves a standard 40-hour work week, allowing you to fully engage with students and staff in a collaborative K-12 educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within school settings is highly desirable
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret data to support students’ educational planning
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and consult with staff on intervention strategies
- Support the development of safe, inclusive school climates at each site
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with federal and state regulations
