You’ll guide a class of 10 students alongside two talented teaching assistants, fostering academic and social growth in a structured, inclusive setting. The school day runs from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, allowing you to establish a strong routine and a positive, nurturing classroom culture.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
• Experience working within a separate setting or specialized classroom is a plus
• Background with IEP development, implementation, and related documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, parents, and other specialists
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and classroom management skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and adapt lesson plans for individual learning objectives
• Manage, review, and document IEPs and student progress
• Employ evidence-based instructional strategies to promote student growth
• Lead and collaborate with your team of teaching assistants
