Pharmacy Technician in Sanger, CA

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A health center in need of a skilled pharmacy technician to provide maternity leave coverage for approximately 5 to 6 months is seeking a candidate with recent retail/community pharmacy experience. This role supports the pharmacy’s daily operations, ensuring efficient service and patient care within a community pharmacy setting.

Location & Commute:

• Position based in Parlier, CA
• Candidate may commute daily from Fresno, CA (approximately 20+ minutes)
• No mileage reimbursement provided

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Start dates available: August 31 or September 8

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform retail pharmacy technician duties supporting patient prescriptions and counseling under pharmacist supervision
• Utilize the Rx30 pharmacy management system for dispensing and record-keeping
• Maintain accuracy and compliance within pharmaceutical protocols in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients
• Adhere strictly to attendance and punctuality expectations, ensuring reliability without call-outs or tardiness

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent retail pharmacy technician experience required
• Familiarity with Rx30 system preferred
• Spanish language skills are a strong plus, though not mandatory
• Demonstrated dependability and professionalism in workplace attendance and conduct

Contract Details:

• Temporary assignment covering maternity leave, lasting approximately 5 to 6 months
