Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- California State SLP license or eligibility
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student academic and social success
- Contribute to and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring that goals and accommodations align with each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Implement evidence-based interventions and keep current with best practices in the field
