School Psychologist – Taylor, MI
A school district in the Detroit Metro area is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is primarily evaluation-focused, with an emphasis on cognitive and adaptive testing and IEP support. No therapy or counseling responsibilities.
Schedule:
Full-Time
37.5 Hours Per Week
Monday-Friday

School Year:
August 31, 2026 – End of the 2026-2027 School Year
Setting:
School-based position
Psychologists assigned to different school buildings
Office provided at the district Board Office
Travel between assigned buildings may be required
Responsibilities:
Conduct cognitive and adaptive testing
Complete initial and 3-year evaluations
Participate in IEP meetings and related processes
Prepare evaluation reports and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Provide assessment-based consultation and support
Qualifications:
Active Michigan School Psychologist certification/licensure
School-based experience preferred
Strong cognitive and adaptive assessment skills
Experience with initial and 3-year IEP evaluations preferred
