School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Hesperia, California

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
• Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
• Knowledge of current therapy techniques, best practices, and IEP processes
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine individualized speech and language needs
• Design and implement effective treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
• Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings
• Track progress, maintain timely documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Support classroom staff by sharing strategies to facilitate communication development
• Stay current with professional best practices and ongoing education
