School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Hesperia, California
Job Description

Working alongside educators and student support teams, you will assess, treat, and help guide students on their journeys toward more confident communication.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
- Knowledge of current therapy techniques, best practices, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine individualized speech and language needs
- Design and implement effective treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings
- Track progress, maintain timely documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Support classroom staff by sharing strategies to facilitate communication development
- Stay current with professional best practices and ongoing education
