Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students near Newark, NJ as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a direct impact in an educational setting, equipped with specialized skills to help children thrive academically and personally. The assignment runs from September 22, 2026, through April 19, 2027, and consists of 6 hours per day, 12 hours per week—providing the flexibility to balance your career with other commitments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Experience with pediatric and/or school-based caseloads highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and educators

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to support academic success
  • Provide direct therapy services and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in line with school requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and professional development as needed
