Inpatient IV Certified Pharmacy Technician in Middleton, WI

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility is seeking three skilled inpatient Pharmacy Technicians to join their team on a contract basis. Schedule/Hours:

• Start Date: September 14
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with a possibility to extend to 26 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense intravenous (IV) and oral medications accurately for inpatient use
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure proper medication management
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies
• Support safe and effective medication distribution within the inpatient pharmacy department

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician certification with IV certification is required
• Experience working in a hospital inpatient pharmacy setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication dispensing protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with pharmacists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
