Volt is immediately hiring Material Handlers / Forklift Operators in Olive Branch, Mississippi.
As a Material Handler, you will:
- Operate reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory
- Replenish warehouse flow racks and storage locations
- Pick and stage customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse technology
- Verify incoming shipments against packing lists
- Maintain productivity and quality standards
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory movement activities
- Work overtime as needed to support business demands
Schedule: 1st Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
This is a full time, contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience
- Previous reach truck and forklift operating experience required
- Prior forklift certification preferred
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance when needed
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity goals
Pay Rate: $18.00- $19.00 per hour.
