Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) are required.
- Certification as an SLP-CCC.
- Comfortable working as the sole clinician in a therapeutic day school setting.
- Experience, interest, or training in autism, emotional, or intellectual disabilities preferred.
- Strong independent problem-solving and communication skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy services to a small caseload spanning PreK to age 22 in a single, focused location.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families, providing guidance and resources as needed.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, meeting the required compliance standards.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to an interdisciplinary approach.
