Current needs include:

• One Resource IA opening at an elementary level
• Multiple positions at a K-12 special education campus, including roles in medically fragile elementary classrooms and an autism-focused secondary classroom

Candidates with a compassionate approach and specialized experience are highly encouraged to apply, especially those who have supported students with significant medical needs or behavioral challenges.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience as a paraprofessional in school settings
• Background working directly with children, particularly those with special needs, autism, or medical fragility
• Ability to assist with physical care needs and implement behavioral intervention strategies
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families
• Flexibility, patience, and a supportive attitude in a fast-paced, ever-changing educational environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced training in special education or related areas is a plus

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to students throughout the school day
• Help with classroom activities and facilitate learning under the direction of certified teachers
• Monitor students and ensure a safe, nurturing environment
• Offer assistance with self-care and medical routines as needed
• Contribute feedback to the educational team on student progress
