Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related area, or AAS degree from an accredited SLPA program
  • Active SLPA license or certification
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, especially in challenging or high-stress situations
  • Ability to work across multiple school sites as needed
  • Commitment to following students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Team-player mentality with a passion for supporting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services, implementing IEP goals for students
  • Gather data, document progress, and modify approaches under the guidance of a supervising SLP
  • Engage in effective communication with educational staff and families to support student outcomes
  • Travel between school buildings if necessary; flexibility is a must
  • Uphold professional ethics and best practices in all aspects of service delivery
