Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related area, or AAS degree from an accredited SLPA program
- Active SLPA license or certification
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, especially in challenging or high-stress situations
- Ability to work across multiple school sites as needed
- Commitment to following students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Team-player mentality with a passion for supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services, implementing IEP goals for students
- Gather data, document progress, and modify approaches under the guidance of a supervising SLP
- Engage in effective communication with educational staff and families to support student outcomes
- Travel between school buildings if necessary; flexibility is a must
- Uphold professional ethics and best practices in all aspects of service delivery
