Job Description
Step into a dynamic role supporting K-8 students in a welcoming school environment near Ware Shoals, SC. This contract opportunity is full-time (35 hours per week), providing essential speech and language services across two closely located school sites. The caseload includes students with language-based needs, speech impairments, and autism, primarily at the elementary level. Both SLPA and SLP candidates—including those with CCC or CFY credentials—are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina
- Accepting applicants at the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) levels, as well as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver speech and language interventions for K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of services provided
- Consult with educators, parents, and other team members to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Travel between two nearby school sites as needed
