Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a speech-language pathologist in a welcoming school environment near San Jose, CA. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with a manageable group of approximately 45 students, ensuring each child receives individualized attention and care throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California SLP license is required
  • Experience or strong interest in providing speech-language services in elementary school settings
  • Proficient with standard SLP responsibilities, including assessments, interventions, progress monitoring, and IEP participation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a collaborative educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services (testing, assessments, direct and indirect therapy)
  • Manage a caseload of around 45 elementary-age students at a single school site
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student communication success
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, document progress, and support compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Provide both scheduled and as-needed support as part of the student services team
  • Maintain professional records and participate in training as assigned
