Job Description
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, with flexibility for candidates who bring strong maintenance, HVAC, or multi-trade experience.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and hands-on Facilities Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for preparing apartment units for new residents, performing general repairs, and helping maintain the overall condition of residential properties. The ideal candidate enjoys a variety of maintenance tasks, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently to keep properties safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities- Turn over apartment units to prepare them for new residents.
- Perform drywall repair, patching, and finishing work.
- Complete light carpentry projects and repairs.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic electrical repairs.
- Inspect, test, and maintain appliances within residential units.
- Perform plumbing repairs and general maintenance as needed.
- Conduct HVAC maintenance and minor repair work.
- Complete painting, touch-up, and unit refresh projects.
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
- Assist with property upkeep and preventative maintenance initiatives.
- Perform outdoor maintenance tasks, including snow removal during winter months.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, apartment maintenance, or property maintenance.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with boilers and residential mechanical systems.
- Drywall installation, repair, patching, and finishing experience.
- Painting and unit turnover experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Possession of personal hand tools.

- Competitive pay ranging from $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, with higher rates available for highly experienced candidates.

This position is based within a large residential property portfolio and involves both indoor and outdoor maintenance work. Employees will use standard maintenance tools and equipment while performing repairs in occupied and vacant apartment units, common areas, and building systems. The role requires a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working independently, handling a variety of maintenance tasks, and responding to the needs of residents and property operations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
