Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP license
- At least one year of paid SLP experience in a school setting
- Experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- CFs and SLPAs are not eligible for this role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to preschool students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate actively in team meetings to share progress and recommend strategies
- Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices
