Retail Staff Pharmacist - Winamac, IN

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support outpatient hospital retail pharmacy operations in Winamac, IN. This contract role spans 8 to 13 weeks, working 4 to 5 days per week from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The position provides a dynamic work environment alongside a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time pharmacist, and two pharmacy technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders and verify products prepared by technicians before dispensing.
• Maintain the security of pharmacy supplies and controlled substances in compliance with regulations.
• Enter patient orders and information with precision using Pioneer RX, enhancing workflow accuracy.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Indiana pharmacy license required.
• Prior experience in pharmacy practice, especially in outpatient or retail settings.
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX order entry system is preferred, supporting efficient pharmacy management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

Schedule:

• 4 to 5 days per week.
• Shift hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
