Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Washington state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate approach and dedication to helping children achieve their communication goals

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary school students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to design effective interventions
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ communication abilities
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
  • Offer guidance and resources to families, supporting generalization of skills beyond the classroom
