Job Description

The Production Assembler on A Shift plays a key role in assembling automotive products on a high-volume production line. You operate and maintain assembly equipment, ensure all products meet strict quality standards, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment while working closely with your team to meet daily production targets.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly line tasks according to established work instructions and direction from the supervisor.
  • Operate and maintain machinery, tools, and equipment on the assembly line in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure products are assembled correctly and consistently meet quality and specification standards.
  • Inspect assembled products for faults or defects and take appropriate action to correct or report issues.
  • Keep the assembly line area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines, including the use of appropriate safety gear.
  • Meet daily and weekly production targets and deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the assembly line team to support smooth workflow and problem-solving.
  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge of assembly line processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Load product pieces slated for assembly onto the line and pack completed products into boxes for shipment or storage.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support production and facility operations.

Essential Skills

  • Experience or familiarity with production, manufacturing, or assembly environments.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time during the shift.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination for precise assembly tasks.
  • High level of attention to detail to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures, guidelines, and standard operating instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly line work preferred.
  • Basic math and measurement skills to support accurate assembly and quality checks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, tools, and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or related production settings is a plus.
  • Comfort working with production machinery and tools in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic with a focus on meeting production goals.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with supervisors and team members.
  • Openness to continuous improvement and cross-training in different assembly tasks.

Work Environment

You work inside a newer, modern manufacturing facility in the automotive sector, designed to support efficient and safe production. The environment is structured around a production line with machinery and tools typical of automotive assembly operations. The A Shift runs from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, offering a consistent daytime schedule. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols, with appropriate safety gear required while working on the line

This is a Permanent position based out of Bloomingdale, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $37440.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
