Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity seeks experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support hospital pharmacy operations in Connersville, IN. Candidates with an Indiana license or the ability to obtain one are encouraged to apply; out-of-state licensed techs may qualify given Indiana’s licensing process.
Positions Available:
- Night Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Day/Afternoon Shift: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding
- Restock automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis machines)
- Respond to pharmacy-related calls
- Deliver medications to patient care floors
- Manage and remove expired medications
Qualifications:
- Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum of 2 years current hospital pharmacy technician experience
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
