What you'll bring:

• A current and active State Special Education Teaching License
• Direct experience leading or managing a High School Life Skills or self-contained classroom (this role requires more than traditional resource room or case management experience)
• Strong understanding of high school transition planning, including adaptive care and post-secondary preparation
• Collaborative approach to guiding paraprofessionals and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs)

• Develop and deliver instruction in functional academics and daily living skills
