Job Description

This full-time contract assignment lets you use your clinical expertise to help children reach their full potential in academic environments. Working Monday through Friday with standard 8-hour days, you’ll split your time between two welcoming school sites.

Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Florida
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans for diverse student needs
- Skilled in providing both direct services and consultative support to teachers and staff
- Comfortable working across elementary and middle school communities
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans/interventions
- Maintain documentation and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Coach teachers and families with practical strategies to support student development
- Attend IEP meetings, providing input on goals and progress
- Support classroom adaptations to promote inclusion and participation
