Clinical Pharmacist - Arroyo Seco, New Mexico

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to provide essential pharmacy services at a critical access hospital in Taos, NM. This role is ideal for licensed pharmacists seeking a dynamic, clinical environment with a focus on direct patient care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize medication therapy
• Oversee pharmacokinetic monitoring and dose adjustments
• Manage inpatient medication distribution and clinical pharmacy functions

Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility for a temporary license
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a small hospital setting serving up to 25 patients

Schedule:

• Day shifts, 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM to 7:00 PM)

• Taos, NM

This is a contract position with a commitment of 13 weeks or longer. Candidates must be flexible and willing to travel or relocate for the duration of the assignment.
