Job Description

The assignment runs through May 2027, with a consistent 37.5-hour work week in a vibrant educational setting near Lithonia, GA.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (candidates will eventually need both but either one is initially acceptable)
- Holding or in pursuit of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Open to Speech-Language Assistants (SLAs) with GaPSC certification
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students
- Ability to function effectively as part of an educational team
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to designated elementary school students
- Complete assessments, develop individualized education program (IEP) goals, and maintain required documentation
- Work onsite in a supportive school environment; remote work not available
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress and successful communication
- Participate in parent conferences, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other professional development opportunities
- Track and report student outcomes aligned with state and district expectations
