Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). In this onsite position for the full 2026-2027 school year, you'll have the flexibility to choose either full-time or part-time hours to best fit your schedule and preferences.
You'll have the chance to make a real impact in the lives of students from PreK through grade 12 in a positive, collaborative educational setting. Working alongside teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, your expertise will help students develop essential communication skills that support their academic and social growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible Virginia SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, Clinical Fellows (CFs) welcome
- Open to SLPs or SLPAs with school-based experience
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for diverse student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP and student support meetings
