Job Description
Make a significant difference in the lives of young learners by supporting PreK and Kindergarten students with speech and language needs. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours (up to 40 per week) between August 24, 2026, and June 10, 2027, with some flexibility for part-time or hybrid scheduling—though onsite presence is required. The assignment details are set to be finalized by August 22, 2026.
Your work will focus on early intervention, assessment, and support in a dynamic school-based setting, providing valuable services to students during their foundational years.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current, active Michigan SLP license—please ensure a screenshot of your license is provided when applying.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Previous experience with PreK or Kindergarten student populations in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Capability to work primarily onsite; fully remote options are not available for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret results for educational planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student progress.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district requirements.
