School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Cambridge, Massachusetts

Your presence will be essential for the health and well-being of students during daily school hours, from August through June. Key Qualifications:

• Current LPN/LVN licensure in Massachusetts
• At least one year of relevant LPN experience; school nursing preferred
• Strong skills in pediatric and complex medical care
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Reliable, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to elementary students with diverse health needs
• Work closely with a full-time RN to address daily and emergent medical issues
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state and school policies
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to create a healthy school environment
• Administer medications, provide support for chronic conditions, and deliver first aid as needed
• Promote health education and preventive care among students and staff
