Accounting Supervisor
LHH Recruiting Solutions is searching for an experienced Accounting Supervisor, for a growing construction company, working in the office on the Southside of Richmond, VA. This role will support financial operations across multiple entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys improving processes, strengthening controls, and contributing to a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review accounting activity across balance sheet and operating accounts to ensure accuracy and strong controls
• Prepare and review general ledger entries, reconciliations, and account analyses
• Support consolidation and reporting across multiple entities, brands, and locations
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and external audit activities
• Help improve accounting processes, documentation, templates, and systems
• Train and support team members on accounting procedures, systems, and best practices
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 4-5 years of accounting, finance, consulting, or related analytical experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet review
• Experience supporting multi-entity accounting and ERP systems; Viewpoint Spectrum experience is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Professional, dependable, ethical, and able to manage confidential information
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Compensation and Schedule:
• Permanent salary range: $80,000-$100,000 annually
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• In-office
