Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school setting near Parma, MI. This full-time position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with flexibility for part-time or hybrid schedules that prioritize onsite presence. The primary focus is serving PreK and Kindergarten students, supporting them in building foundational communication skills that will benefit their academic and social growth.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current, active Michigan SLP license (screenshot of license must accompany application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work onsite (fully remote candidates are not being considered)
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech-language services to PreK and Kindergarten students as assigned
- Conduct assessments and evaluations in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
