Location & Setting:

• Position based in Pocahontas, IA
• Specialty Pharmacy environment

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Occasional weekends required

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmacist services specifically tailored to long-term care patients
• Accurately dispense medications while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient medication therapies
• Manage and monitor patient profiles to prevent adverse drug interactions
• Support clinical interventions and patient education initiatives

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa pharmacist license or temporary Iowa license required
