We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team in a contract-to-hire position. You will play an essential role in assembling spray booth units and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble spray booth units using hand and power tools.
  • Build small sub-assemblies and progress to larger assemblies over time.
  • Work alongside a team member for hands-on training and cross-training on different assembly stations.
  • Install frames and attach large plastic panels (approx. 4x6 ft.).
  • Perform detailed assembly tasks such as fitting small components together.
  • Assist with packing completed booths into large shipping units as needed for shipment preparation.
  • Conduct final inspection to ensure proper functionality (e.g., nozzles working, components properly installed).
  • Follow work instructions and assembly guides; most processes are learned on the job.
  • Complete assembly and sub-assembly builds according to standard procedures.
  • Perform quality checks and basic functional testing on completed units.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met.
Essential Skills
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude or prior assembly/manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn new assembly processes quickly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with blueprints is a plus.
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly is beneficial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macedonia, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
