School Speech Language Pathologist - Montgomery, Minnesota

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services on a contract basis. Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP-CCC credentials
• Valid state licensure or eligibility
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify students with communication, language, or swallowing disorders
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy, both individual and group, tailored to student goals
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for evaluations and progress reports
• Consult with teachers and families to maximize student success across learning environments
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
• Share regular updates and progress with relevant stakeholders

As part of this contract position, you’ll play a crucial role gathering student and caseload information to present to supervisors for review and planning. Please note, this position does not involve teletherapy (“voco”) and will begin in-person, with an orientation scheduled for 8/19 at 10am.
