Pay: $24.00/hr. | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support multiple apartment communities in Kansas City, KS 66112. This is a roving maintenance position, traveling between properties to complete HVAC work orders, service requests, and general property maintenance. We're looking for a technician with strong HVAC diagnostic skills who takes pride in providing quality service.

- Location: Kansas City, KS 66112
- Pay: $24.00/hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Opportunity Type: Contract
- Interview Process: Candidate bio and virtual interview required prior to start
- Travel between assigned apartment communities to complete maintenance requests
- Diagnose and repair PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner) units
- Complete HVAC work orders efficiently and accurately
- Perform general service tickets, including plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry repairs
- Assist with preventive maintenance and overall property upkeep
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
- Provide professional and courteous service to residents and onsite teams
- EPA/HVAC Certification required
- Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Must be experienced in diagnosing and repairing PTAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Ability to work independently while traveling between multiple properties
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
