Step into a rewarding contract role dedicated to supporting young learners through specialized speech and language services. This part-time position (6 hours per day, 12 hours per week) offers the unique opportunity to provide impactful therapy within a school-based pediatric setting from September 22, 2026, through April 19, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in pediatric or school-based therapy environments
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based practices for speech-language intervention
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered learning environments

Primary Duties:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with state and federal special education requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and advocacy for students’ speech and language needs
  • Engage in professional development to remain current on best practices and emerging research
